“Sometimes it’s the one who loves you that hurts you the most”

Happy New Month!!

It’s May, the weather is getting warmer so I guess it’s safe to say we are in the summer reads season right?!

Our book of the month this May is one of my new favourites and definitely a fan favourite:  “It ends with us” by  Colleen Hoover. 

I had heard lots about this book and had it on my reading list for quite some time but never got around to reading it. Now that I have read it, I’m hooked to Colleen Hoover books.

It ends with us is one book that really pulls all your heart strings. The characters make a mark on your heart and when you finally put it down, their stories and experiences stay with you. 

It is a book about love, relationships, compromises, heartbreak and the difficult choices we have to make for love.

One of the things I liked most about the book is that it gave me a different perspective into domestic abuse. It’s so easy to tell victims to leave but reading this book, you get an insight into the thoughts and reasonings behind a person’s decision to stay or leave.

So yeah, that’s our first summer read this season. Let me know what you guys think of it. And I’m pretty sure we’ll have other Colleen Hoover books this season??
