Hey Book lovers! It’s April!

April is definitely my favorite month of the year. The weather is warmer, flowers start blooming, and it also happens to be my birth month ??
So, it’s only right that we are reading one of my favorite books this month –
The Moment of Lift: How empowering women changes the world by Melinda Gates

Melinda Gates covers a lot of different topics in this book. From gender inequality, to maternal health, family planning, girl child education, unpaid work and the gender-pay gap, girl child marriage, poverty, sexual harassment …. So many topics!
She covers these topics by sharing stories of real life experiences of the women she has met all over the world ,and she backs up her assertions with data and statistics.

I finished reading this book feeling invigorated, and with a renewed passion about doing more for girls and women all over the world!
