Happy New Month!!

April is definitely my favorite month of the year because it’s also my birth month ???

This month we are reading “How to win friends and influence people” by Dale Carnegie.
Everyone that has read this book has raving testimonials and reviews to share.

I remember my dad buying me the teen girl version of this book when I was probably 11/12 and I loved it.

In the world we live in, having social skills is a very important component for success.
In this best selling book Dale Carnegie walks us through several tips that are guaranteed to help you make friends and influence people.

The main premise of the book is that people will be nice to you if you’re nice to them. The principles outlined include ways to communicate effectively with people, how to show people you’re genuinely interested in them and what they have to say, conflict resolution strategies,  ways to approach arguments, and how to be an effective leader.

This book was written so many years ago and has gone through so many revisions through the years to make the principles more relevant to the world we live in now.
