Hey Bookies!!!
Happy New Month!!
How have you been??
I took August off and that’s why I have been MIA. I missed y’all though, and I know you missed me too??.
I’m back now and we are resuming with the perfect book; Eat That Frog! 21 great ways to stop procrastinating and get more done in less time
This book is one of the biggest sellers in the “Time management and Productivity” genre and it comes with many stellar reviews!
Procrastination is something I have always struggled with. And I’m sure a lot of us can relate. In fact, at one point, I crowned myself the Queen of Procrastination??. So you can see why I need to read this book abi. I’m ready to give up my crown?
Like its title reads, this book offers practical strategies to help overcome procrastination and increase productivity. One key strategy it introduces is the concept of doing your hardest or most difficult task (eating the biggest frog) first. And a lot of people have great things to say about the effectiveness of this strategy.
Perhaps my favourite thing about the book is that it is a short and easy read making it less daunting for procrastinators like me??.
A few quotes from the book:
“Everyone procrastinates. The difference between high performers and low performers is largely determined by what they choose to procrastinate on”
“Do not wait; the time will never be “just right”. Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.”
“The law of Forced Efficiency says that there is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing”
So there you have it. Join me in reading this book this month and let us beat procrastination together????
Eat a Frog! ?????? Lord knows I always pray for the person that got me this book.
Really good book, I recommend with my chest.
